A Few Words About Us
Jeffrey M. Cravey, P.C. is a local firm engaged in general accounting and tax services located in Bellaire, TX. The firm, which was founded in 1989, represents clients in Houston and the surrounding metropolitan area.
The firm’s commitment is to provide its clients with high quality, personalized, and cost effective accounting and tax services. This commitment is met through continuing relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing financial needs are satisfied as their companies grow and economic conditions change.
Regulations, accounting standards and tax laws are constantly changing. To best serve our clients, we must stay current on new regulations and changing standards. We are dedicated to continuing education which enables the firm to identify, anticipate and best serve our clients needs.
Meet the team
Jeffrey M. Cravey
Jeff has been practicing public accounting since graduating from college and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988. He has significant experience in small business operations and financing as it relates to the operating entity, as well as individual financial needs such as tax preparation, investment analysis, retirement planning, and estate planning.
He attended The University of Houston and earned a BBA in Accounting in 1980, then earned his MBA in Finance in 1983, and is proud to be part of the UH Almuni.
Jeff has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1988. He is also an active member or past member of various boards of directors including Commercial State Bank – El Campo, First Financial Bank – Kingwood, Citizens State Bank – Woodville, and Municipal Utility District 66 – Galveston County.
Allyson Baker
Allyson joined the team in 2018 as a junior accountant and staff tax preparer. Over the past 25 years, she has been involved in various aspects of accounting from bookkeeping to weekly and monthly reporting, to payroll processing and reporting. She has experience with QuickBooks and her experience spans both the private and government sectors.
Outside of work she has raised five children and enjoys being by the water and spending time with her family.
Donna Chambers
Donna has been with the firm for thirty plus years. Over the years she has helped clients set up and maintain their company’s books and records using various accounting software systems and utilizing the information to prepare tax returns. She is also an expert in the payroll process and has assisted clients in calculating payroll and filing various payroll reports.
Andrea Holt
Andrea brings over 25 years of accounting experience to every client relationship. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, from auditor to tax preparer to CFO. Andrea currently serves as controller/CFO for multiple clients of the firm. She is focused on meeting the tax and accounting needs of closely-held businesses and their owners in a variety of industries. She is also an expert in QuickBooks and provides technical training in the use of the software.
Andrea earned a BBA in Accounting at The University of Texas at El Paso
